The Edelweiss Passaic Schuhplattler Verein is a dance and social club that promotes the heritage and culture of Bavaria. We are based in Passaic County, NJ, meeting in Fairfield, NJ, but have members who live throughout northern and central New Jersey.

We wear traditional Bavarian dress and perform. Our membership includes all ages, and we have active adult and children dance groups that perform mostly in New Jersey but also in neighboring states and compete in Gaufests hosted by the Gauverband Nordamerika.

Having been founded in 1957 by couples with a wealth of international folk dancing experience, we celebrated our 50th Anniversary in 2007.
